Acknowledging the importance of keeping user data private and safe, we guarantee the protection of our customers’ personal data whenever they are collected. We keep data safe against improper access, theft, or loss.

As part of data privacy regulations, we ensure the right of our customers to get data deleted.

We would like to introduce you to the different possibilities of how the data gets deleted. Basically, user accounts can be either deactivated or completely deleted.

Contract expiration

Upon contract termination, the customer data is immediately deleted. All smartPeople and connected smartApps data is permanently erased at 12 midnight. A customer gets notified about data deletion 1 month before contract termination as well as on the exact date of contract termination.

Delete inactive users (Settings in Ludi Cloud)

Over time, users leave your company, and it is recommended to remove the accounts of former employees for security issues.

You can delete users who have been in the inactive state for a specified length of time by defining this setting in Ludi Cloud, the user management system. For more details about how to do it, see Delete inactive users.

Delete inactive users (Import pipelines in Ludi Cloud)

We offer you one more possibility to manage inactive users in Ludi Cloud. You can do it while integrating your data to the smartApps and synchronizing it with your systems with the help of the import pipelines feature.

When settings up a pipeline to import users, you can define what to do if a user does not exist in your source file. You have the following options:

  • Deactivate user
  • Delete user
