Data integration methods

User-driven mode

The current mode implies that employees of your company can access any smartApp by logging in to the system and add data. Once the data is in the system, they can further maintain it as needed.

In this case, data synchronization is also offered. Here are possible synchronization options:

• One-time synchronization on the login event. When a user logs in for the first time, smartApps use the previously uploaded data.
• Continuous synchronization. Data is updated every time new data is provided (for example, once you upload a new list of users).

Data only mode

Data of all employees of your company is uploaded to the system, but the employees do not have access to smartPeople. In this case, you deal only with data.

Data integration methods

• User-driven data implies adding data manually to the system.
  As a normal user, for example, you can add your jobs, skills, location preferences, etc. to your profile. On the other hand, the Admin users can add manually users to the system, whereas, the HR or Moderator users can directly post jobs.

• Batch import implies importing data via Excel templates.
  As an Admin, you can import various data via our smartApps so smartPeople can get the most out of the talent marketplace and have a great experience of using the system.

• Automated pipelines imply uploading data continuously from your source systems.
  You can upload and maintain such data as: users, user job history, user skills, etc.
