Changes you make are saved automatically and take effect immediately.
Posts & Browse
As an administrator, you can allow users to browse job, task, and event posts as well as create them. To enable the Posts & Browse feature, turn on the toggle in the Posts & Browse group box.
Once turned on, Browse becomes available on the navigation menu.
Posts becomes available on the navigation menu for those app roles which you select per a definite post type. To denote app roles and allow them accessing and managing posts of that type, click a post type (job, task, or event), and then select checkboxes corresponding to the app roles you want to grant access permissions for.
For job posts, you can also turn on the smartHire feature by selecting the corresponding checkbox under Additional features. It can help users optimize job posts they create based on market data.
When setting access permission to posts of any type, you can additionally set criteria to define visibility restrictions for those who can view the posts in the Browse area created by the definite app role. Once you select a checkbox to grant access to the corresponding app role, the Public tag appears next to that checkbox by default. It means that any user can find the post, which was created by this app role, in the Browse area without any restrictions.
To restrict visibility of the post created by the definite app role, follow the steps listed below:
- Under App role access, click the pencil icon within the app role record.
- In the Control visibility pane, define criteria to restrict visibility of the post created by the specified app role. Only users matching these criteria can find this post in the Browse area.
- Once done, click Apply.
Once you restrict the post visibility, the Public tag changes to Restricted.
